It's great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chantal Fraser.

I founded Empowered Path Inc. in 2012 with the idea of doing more of what I loved best - speaking and training.

As much as I’d love to say becoming a veteran and starting a business was a seamless transition, it took a little testing and tweaking to get to the place I’m at now.

During that process, I realized the skills I’d learned while serving as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces weren’t just transferable to my own business projects. They can also help you reach your goals.

More than that, I learned there’s a need for a lot of the other things I love doing like mentoring, coaching, leading teams and managing complex projects.

I genuinely believe that each of us has gifts to share with the world.

When we find or create a workplace that appreciates those gifts, and provides at least a living wage, we all win.

My special interests are leadership (understanding people), sharing success stories, and helping people learn ways to help themselves, their communities and organizations thrive.

What does that mean?

I teach people tactics and strategies to help them discover their ideal jobs AND I help employers learn tactics and strategies to help them create more Inclusive Diverse Equitable Accessible Learning (IDEAL) workplaces.

There are many ways in which Chantal’s course benefited me with my career and personal life but ones that stand out are how I see it evidenced in my life. I moved from a job that had very little challenge to a rewarding career with a significant pay rise. I am helping other people succeed and progress in their careers and I hope in their lives, if even in a small way. Never be afraid to ask for what you want.

I was so grateful to have taken the Empowered Path Inc. course. Chantal’s leadership in navigating the course was incredible, as was being able to connect with my fellow students on a regular basis. I reflected on my career, did a vision board, used mind maps and reflected on who my “friendly forces” were. Chantal is very invested with her students and the one-on-one sessions with her are so helpful! This course gave me the courage to change industries after 25+ years!

Chantal is a highly knowledgeable and supportive individual who develops strong partnerships. I'm appreciative of my connection with Chantal and remain excited to work with Chantal in the future and continue learning from thought leadership and I am confident that those who work with Chantal will have the same positive, joyful sentiments that I do.

[Chantal has a] unique ability to recognize unconventional talent and apply it in creative and innovative ways! She is a very deep and insightful person and has proven to be a great mentor. Chantal is personally responsible for helping me identify opportunities to expand my business model and has significantly increased my professional network. She has directly made meaningful connections for me, generated many referrals leading to work, and has generously shared her contacts to help me grow.

A gifted speaker and training facilitator, Chantal has a wealth of knowledge and is eager to share that with people and businesses in our community. She is easy to talk to and the amount of care she puts into her work really sets the bar for those in her industry. The way that she nurtures connections she has made within the community has been wonderful. I highly recommend Chantal for any personal speaking event and/or to help you to truly achieve your overall goals within your business.

I led a 1/2- day session on behalf of the Quinte & District HRPA Chapter and the Centre for Workforce Development and had the pleasure of working with Chantal in her role as Moderator. Organized and efficient, Chantal skillfully moderated the large group of participants with great success!! The success of any event reflects a lot of careful and thoughtful planning and Chantal is someone that is proficient in all of these competencies! Well done Chantal!

Even though part of my background was as a career coach, it's really hard to coach yourself into your next career. So I reached out to Chantal to get some clarity around my approach to a possible job opportunity. She gave me some straight forward simple advice (and confidence) on what to do to ensure my needs were met. And, it worked! I landed exactly what I was after. Thanks Chantal for being my trusted coach and cheerleader all in one!

Chantal has a tremendous skill in building community and connections. It was these skills that I called upon when I needed to make a career decision. Chantal took the time to have a conversation with me and shared her insight and expertise about how the role would complement and align with my business direction. Her guidance was instrumental in making the business decision. It is important to have a trusted expert support system around you when you are faced with making business decisions. Chantal is definitely one of those people you want on speed-dial.
